How to Set Up IPTV on Smart TV
A complete walkthrough for getting TV Brit running on any smart TV with a built in app store, from finding the right app through to your first channel. Takes about ten minutes.

Step 1: Find Your TV’s App Store
Every modern smart TV has some kind of app store built in, sometimes called Apps, Smart Hub or Content Store depending on the brand.
1. Press the Home button on your remote
2. Look for an icon labelled Apps, Smart Hub, or Content Store
3. If you have a Samsung or LG TV, our Samsung guide or LG guide covers the exact menu names

Step 2: Install an IPTV Player App
Once you message us on WhatsApp, we’ll confirm exactly which free player app to search for and install on your specific TV brand.
1. In the app store, select Search
2. Type in the app name we send you
3. Select Install or Download
4. Wait for the install to finish

Step 3: Message Us for Your Access Details
Once the app is installed, you’ll need your personal access details to unlock channels.
1. Message us on WhatsApp with your TV brand and model
2. We’ll confirm the right app and send your access details
3. Keep your TV nearby so you can enter them straight away

Step 4: Enter Your Details and Start Watching
The last step is loading your channels.
1. Open the IPTV player app
2. Enter the access details we sent you
3. Wait a moment for the channel list to load

If Something Doesn’t Work
My TV doesn’t have an app store: older TVs without a store can still run TV Brit through a Firestick or Android TV box connected via HDMI, see our Firestick setup guide.

Which TV brands does this work with?
Most brands with a working app store, including Sony, Hisense, Vizio and Philips. Samsung and LG follow a specific method, see our dedicated guides for those.
What if my TV doesn’t have an app store at all?
Add a small streaming device like a Firestick or Android TV box, both give you a full app store on an older TV.
Is there a cost for the app itself?

Do I need to reinstall after a TV software update?
